This statement explains which personal data the ColorBase website collects, why we collect it and what you can do about it.
Who we are
ColorBase BV runs this website. You can reach us at hello@colorbase.com.
Contact form
When you send the contact form we store your name, email address, company, topic and message, so we can answer you. We send the message to our own inbox and use it for nothing else.
Newsletter
When you subscribe we store your email address and send a confirmation link. You are only on the list after you confirm. We record when you subscribed, confirmed or unsubscribed. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
One necessary cookie (cb_consent) remembers your cookie choice for 180 days. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We keep a record of each choice, without your name, as proof of consent.
Spam protection and security
To protect the forms against spam and abuse we keep a shortened, scrambled version of your IP address (a keyed hash) with each form submission and count requests per visitor for a limited time. We never store your IP address itself.
How long we keep data
Placeholder: retention periods for contact messages, subscribers and consent records to be decided by ColorBase.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@colorbase.com. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
